April 25
Tory MPs walk out of Open Britain, putting party before country, and parliamentary salary before personal principle. In the end, behaving like Tories. Yes, it's dressed up as not wanting to campaign against their peers, but if you believe the Referendum was a mistake and so is hard Brexit, isn't it your duty as an MP to say so, and campaign thus? After all, Tory councillors are walking out of the party over its drift to the right and to hard Brexit.
Theresa May meanwhile says that every vote for the Tories will strengthen her hand with Brexit. Except it won't. She is not negotiating with us but with the EU, and voices there have already said this election is a distraction not a help. A landslide merely strengthens her hand over her party and gives her more opportunity to call those who disagree with her the enemy within or saboteurs.
And a note to Theresa May. The 'best possible deal' for business, trade and people is being members of the European Union. The second best is being in the single market and customs union. Anything else is third best. Be honest about the pup you are selling the British people. Those, like you, who want to reduce immigration above anything else will surely vote for you.
